Do you have experience working with students of all ages? We are looking for a part-time drama teacher to join our team! In this role, you'll primarily work with 6th-8th graders, teaching a middle school drama class from 2:00-2:50 PM on Mondays-Thursdays. If you're interested, there are also opportunities to work with younger students! This job is expected to require 10 hours per week, so it's perfect for someone looking for a part-time position. (Please note that the annual salary listed is for the academic year, and not the calendar year. This is a ten-month, part-time position.) You'll work with two groups of students per week, with one group on Mondays and Wednesdays and the other on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Each class will have a maximum of 18 kids. As the drama teacher, you'll be responsible for at least one formal production for each group. Our ideal candidate has experience working with a wide range of ages and enjoys working with middle school students. This individual should love the performing arts, and be prepared to bring that joy to our middle school students. Creativity and flexibility are key attributes.
