September-June Mondays:
4:45 PM - 8:30 PM Position Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Jazz and Musical Theatre Dance Instructor to join our faculty for the 2026-2027 season. The ideal candidate is passionate about training young dancers in both recreational and competitive settings while fostering strong technique, artistry, and confidence in the classroom. Responsibilities Teach weekly Jazz and Musical Theatre classes for recreational and competition students (ages 7-13+) from September through June Create, choreograph, and clean routines for multiple age groups Choreograph and rehearse a year-end recital performance for our June showcase Maintain a positive, structured, and motivating classroom environment Collaborate with studio faculty and directors regarding student progress, scheduling, and performance preparation Attend competitions, dress rehearsals, and recital-related rehearsals as needed Provide strong technical training while encouraging performance quality and stage presence Qualifications Strong background in Jazz and Musical Theatre dance training and performance Previous teaching and choreography experience required Ability to work with dancers of varying levels and ages Energetic, professional, organized, and dependable Strong communication and classroom management skills To Apply Please submit your resume, dance/teaching experience, and choreography reel (if available) for consideration.
