Job Description

The Arizona Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired (ACBVI) is seeking an Assistive Technology Instructor to join our outstanding team of professionals who are committed to serving adults that have recently lost their vision and/or vision & hearing achieve independence and return to work. ACBVI is very much an agency driven by the fact that our clients don't care how much you know until they know how much you care- i.e. we lead with our passion and follow-up with our skills. Your compassionate approach will help advance our mission by helping our clients learn how to use Assistive Technology. Specifically, we are looking for someone who has at least one year of experience teaching adults who have lost their vision how to use Assistive Technology. This is a full-time, in-office opportunity that requires passing both a State and Federal (FBI) background check.
