CDL-A SUMMARY
The City of Chicopee?s Department of Public Works (DPW) is hiring a CDL Training Instructor. For this position we are seeking qualified candidates to provide ELDT instruction in accordance with federal regulations 49CFR Part 380.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE
Provide 5 hours per week of classroom training with approved CDL training curriculum provided by the City of Chicopee and maintain records of completed course work. Provide 5-10 hours per week of Off-Road training including pre-trip inspections, air brake inspections, and basic vehicle control skills. Provide 5-10 hours per week of On-The-Road (behind the wheel training) to include all the necessary safe-road driving skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a valid CDL-Class A and have possessed said CDL for at least 10 years. Must have at least 10 years? experience driving a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV.) Must have an excellent driving record. Active Filters CDL Training Instructor Chicopee, MA Clear All Apply
