Responsibilities Conduct classroom teaching sessions on topics such as traffic laws, FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and safe driving practices. Guide new drivers through orientation programs that cover vehicle inspection procedures, safety protocols, and compliance requirements. Assess trainee progress through evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills and knowledge. Ensure all training activities adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements for commercial driving instruction. Maintain accurate records of training sessions, trainee attendance, and assessment outcomes. Foster a positive learning environment that motivates trainees to develop confidence and professionalism in their driving abilities. Experience Proven experience in the commercial truck industry, teaching, or customer service preferred . Strong knowledge of traffic laws, FMCSA regulations, and DOT standards. Prior experience in classroom teaching or adult education is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to instruct others effectively in a classroom setting with excellent communication skills. Familiarity with commercial driving instruction techniques and safety procedures for bus driving or similar transportation roles. Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with endorsements relevant to tanker, bus driving, or tractor-trailer operations preferred. Knowledge of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and compliance standards essential for training delivery.
