Certified Driving Instructor

Job Summary Looking to add more part-time and full-time Driving Instructors to our team. Will train and get certified. Schedule will be mostly opposite of school schedules so afternoons, weekends, school holidays and any days during school breaks. After paid training and certification, you would be responsible for teaching teens and adults to learn how to drive and to prepare for their SC road test. This is for behind-the-wheel instruction, not classroom. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age , have a valid driver's license , have 5+ years of driving experience and pass a background check . If you like people and are a fun, outgoing and patient person, please apply. Responsibilities Educate students on traffic laws, road signs, and safe driving techniques. Provide behind-the-wheel instruction to ensure practical application of driving skills. Maintain a positive and engaging learning environment. Assess student progress through evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Communicate clearly with students regarding their performance and areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with all local regulations and safety standards during instruction. Accurately complete the required paperwork for each lesson. Skills Strong ability to maintain a professional and effective learning environment. Proficient in driving with a thorough understanding of vehicle operation and safety protocols. Experience working with students of various ages, including adults seeking driver education. Background in adult education or similar instructional roles is preferred. Excellent communication skills to convey information clearly and effectively to students. Ability to educate using various teaching methods tailored to individual learning styles.
