About Align Pilates Studios ALIGN Pilates Studios is a woman-owned studio group, now proudly operating in both Austin and Houston, Texas. Our mission is to deliver exceptional movement experiences through our Pilates studios and teacher training centers. Since opening ALIGN West in 2013, we've become a trusted part of the Austin fitness community. In 2020, we expanded by acquiring the former Feel Good Pilates studio to launch ALIGN East. With the recent opening of ALIGN Sawyer Yards in Houston, we now offer two dedicated Pilates Teacher Training Studios in Texas. Under the leadership of Balanced Body Principal Educator Brooke Bowersock, ALIGN is committed to creating spaces where individuals feel stronger, more connected, and empowered to move better in their daily lives. Both ALIGN East and Sawyer Yards offer ongoing Balanced Body teacher training modules, paid teaching opportunities for instructors in training, and a unique Mentor Program to support the Pilates certification journey. We also host the annual ALIGN Pilates Summit, a unique continuing education conference in the Pilates industry. As we grow, we remain focused on cultivating a supportive and inclusive environment for both clients and team members, with plans to expand our studio locations further. Description ALIGN East and ALIGN Houston are the only dedicated Pilates Teacher Training Centers in Texas. Most training programs, including other Balanced Body training studios, are module based only and leave teaching hours for you to complete on your own. Our goal at ALIGN is to support you through the entire certification process from start to finish. Experienced students in the Mentor Program are invited to begin offering private sessions and classes to our community as a Teaching in Training instructor at ALIGN East and ALIGN Houston. The purpose of this role is to support you in fulfilling your required practice teaching hours while gaining real world experience in a professional studio environment. Just like any role within the studio, instructors are expected to follow established guidelines and protocols to ensure smooth daily operations and a consistent experience for our clients and students. Our team of educators will work closely with you throughout this process. You will receive guidance on how to structure and teach sessions, how to manage special situations, and ongoing support as questions or challenges arise during your training. Compensation Clarification Please note that compensation is paid per class or session taught. The twenty dollars listed is not an hourly rate for time spent at the studio. Instructors are compensated only for classes or sessions taught and not for unscheduled or non teaching time. Hiring Process Applicants will be invited to teach an audition class at ALIGN East. Studio scheduling needs will be reviewed, and availability will be evaluated to confirm your ability to commit to specific recurring weekly time blocks.
