The Department of Economics at the University of Notre Dame invites applications for an open-rank, tenure-track position to begin in the Fall of 2027 whose research program will support the Strengthening Families Research Initiative. We especially welcome applications from candidates at the ranks of Associate or Full Professor.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have a record of research excellence with a strong emphasis on issues related to the economics of families, fertility, child well-being, and/or social policy. The ideal candidate will also have a track record of superlative teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and a capacity to support and shape a university program. Duties include research, teaching, and service. A PhD in Economics or a closely related field is required.
