221110 - Accounting and Marketing Position Summary La Salle University's Accounting Department has an ongoing need for highly qualified adjunct faculty to teach a variety of courses each semester on an "as needed" basis. Courses generally taught by adjunct faculty may include: Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Tax, Audit, Analytics, or Accounting Information Systems at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Undergraduate courses are generally offered in person, in the daytime or evenings, while MBA courses are generally offered online or in a hybrid format. Prepare course materials consistent with departmental learning objectives. Provide timely grading and feedback to students. Provide guidance and support to students. Required Qualifications Master's degree in Accounting or Business, or a closely related field, or a Bachelors degree with a CPA designation and extensive industry experience. Knowledge and commitment to the mission of La Salle University. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience teaching at the collegiate level. Willingness to be flexible in class scheduling. Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours Some classes offered may be in the evenings, on weekends, or online.
