The Department of Teacher Education and Leadership in the College of Education, Humanities, and Behavioral Sciences at Alabama A&M University invites applications from outstanding candidates for a visiting faculty position in Education Administration. This will be a nine-month non-tenure-track position at the rank of assistant or associate professor.

Examples of Duties Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Teach Education Administration and other courses for the PHD in Curriculum and Instruction program. Produce scholarly research leading to publications in refereed journals. Advise students and engage in professional activities in the college. Serve on various committees in the department, college and university levels. Assist in the development and implementation of the College's instructional and institutional goals. Display excellence in teaching, intellectual contributions, effective advising, and service in the department, college and university levels. Perform other duties as assigned. Typical Qualifications Minimum Position Requirements (including years of experience, certifications, licenses, etc.): A Ph. D. or EDD in Education Administration, Educational Leadership or related field. College or university level teaching experience. Candidates with a Ph. D. in a related field should have completed at least 18 semester credit hours of graduate level accounting courses. Demonstration of scholarly contribution through refereed journal publications and other intellectual contributions. Demonstration of excellence in oral and written communication skills.
