This position is critically important in supporting students enrolled in Construction Management, Construction Trades, and related high-demand workforce programs. Following the initial admissions and enrollment process coordinated by the college's Admissions Navigators, this Student Services Analyst serves as the primary Career Navigator and ongoing point of contact for assigned students. The Student Services Analyst functions as a student mentor, coach, and program navigator, assisting students in connecting their academic, personal, and professional goals. The position provides proactive, term-to-term support to promote persistence, course completion, credential attainment, graduation, transfer, and transition to employment. The Student Services Analyst serves as a liaison among students, faculty, student-support departments, Career Services, transfer institutions, and construction-industry partners. The position also supports the development, coordination, and implementation of activities designed to improve student success and employment outcomes while ensuring alignment with institutional priorities, workforce needs, and grant requirements. Essential Functions 40%

• Student Navigation, Academic Advising, and Success Coaching Provides professional-level academic advising, career navigation, and success coaching to an assigned caseload of students enrolled in Construction Management, Construction Trades, and related programs.

Receives students following the admissions and initial enrollment process and serves as their primary point of contact for continued program navigation and support. Provides guidance related to educational and career goal setting, degree and certificate options, course selection, registration, transfer pathways, graduation requirements, and career opportunities. Uses proactive case-management strategies, including targeted communications, individual check-ins, progress reviews, and referrals to appropriate college resources. Monitors student academic progress through student information systems, reporting tools, and other technologies. Identifies students who may be at risk of stopping out or not completing and coordinates timely interventions with faculty, academic support services, financial resources, and other college departments. Provides ongoing term-to-term follow-up to promote retention, completion, graduation, transfer, and achievement of career goals. Collaborates with Career Services and industry partners to connect students with career exploration, work-based learning, internships, apprenticeships, employment opportunities, and other workforce resources. 25%

• Industry Engagement, Program Outreach, and Partnership Coordination Coordinates and conducts outreach with construction-industry partners, community organizations, educational partners, and other stakeholders to support program awareness, student engagement, career preparation, and employment outcomes.

Serves as a liaison between the college and industry partners. Develops and maintains relationships that support hiring, internships, apprenticeships, scholarships, work-based learning, guest presentations, industry-recognized credentials, and other student opportunities. Supports program activities, career and hiring events, workshops, presentations, advisory meetings, transfer activities, and stakeholder meetings. Supports recruitment and outreach efforts in collaboration with college recruitment personnel and Admissions Navigators by providing program-specific information and facilitating connections with prospective students, employers, faculty, and community partners. Works collaboratively with faculty, program leadership, Career Services, district teams, and other departments to support program delivery and alignment with academic and workforce requirements. 20%

• Student Support, Service Coordination, and Program Operations Fosters and maintains an environment of respect, inclusion, and belonging for students, faculty, staff, industry partners, and members of the community.

Delivers high-quality customer service through in-person, telephone, virtual, and written communication, with timely and responsive follow-up. Applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to resolve problems and make recommendations. Supports students from their initial handoff following enrollment through program completion and transition to employment or transfer. Assists students with navigating college processes related to registration, academic standing, graduation, transfer, scholarships, financial resources, and referrals to academic or personal support services. Coordinates with faculty and support departments to resolve student concerns, remove barriers to persistence, and facilitate comprehensive academic and workforce support. Handles immediate, complex, or sensitive student issues requiring confidentiality, sound judgment, or quality assurance. May provide work direction and support to student workers, temporary employees, or other assigned staff. Assists with program events, workshops, orientations, meetings, and other operational activities as needed. 15%

• Data Management, Grant Compliance, and Reporting Creates and prepares reports; collects, researches, analyzes, and interprets student, program, and workforce information.

Tracks and monitors enrollment, persistence, retention, course completion, credential attainment, graduation, transfer, and employment-related outcomes. Specifics may include graduation completion numbers for specific degrees and certificates, job placement and starting salaries, transfer statistics, and recruitment statistics collected from outreach activities. Creates and maintains files, records, databases, case notes, and documentation in accordance with college procedures and grant requirements. Contributes to the evaluation of program performance, key performance indicators, student-support strategies, and continuous-improvement efforts. Supports grant reporting, scholarship processes, industry credentialing activities, and other program-administration requirements. May proctor examinations for industry-recognized credentials related to construction or career readiness. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and two (2) years of student services or college teaching experience, or experience coordinating, administering, planning, or evaluating programs. OR An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation.
