Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of the Montessori curriculum to align with best practices and educational standards. Oversee daily school operations, including staff supervision, student engagement, and classroom management to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment. Facilitate professional development opportunities for faculty to enhance instructional skills, curriculum delivery, and adherence to Montessori principles. Manage school budgets effectively, including planning financial strategies, overseeing expenditures, and ensuring fiscal responsibility. Develop and implement strategic plans that support school growth, community engagement, and educational excellence. Lead fundraising efforts by cultivating relationships with donors, organizing events, and securing resources necessary for program sustainability. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to early childhood education, special education law, and educational licensing requirements. Conduct faculty evaluations through constructive feedback and performance reviews to promote continuous improvement and professional growth. Represent the school at public events through engaging presentations, public speaking engagements, and community outreach initiatives. Collaborate with administrative staff on school policies, legal matters pertaining to education administration, and personnel management. Qualifications Proven experience in school administrative leadership roles within K-12 or early childhood education settings; prior Montessori leadership experience is highly preferred. Strong background in curriculum development tailored to early childhood or Montessori education methodologies. Demonstrated success in managing budgets as an executive education administrator with strategic planning expertise. Extensive knowledge of educational compliance regulations, special education law, and legal considerations in school administration. Excellent management skills with experience supervising faculty and staff within a school environment. Skilled in facilitating professional development for educators to foster instructional leadership and classroom excellence. Exceptional communication skills suitable for public speaking engagements and community relations. Deep understanding of childhood development principles coupled with hands-on classroom experience working directly with students. Ability to lead teams effectively through motivation, mentorship, and collaborative decision-making processes. Familiarity with early childhood education standards, instructional leadership practices in schools, and personnel management in educational settings.
