Job Description

Office Assistant - Miami BerPro Music Academy Miami BerPro Music Academy is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Office Assistant to join our team. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming experience for our students and families while supporting the daily administrative operations of the academy. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, is comfortable communicating with parents and students, and can stay organized in a busy music-school environment. Responsibilities Welcome students, parents, visitors, and prospective families in a friendly and professional manner. Answer phone calls, text messages, and emails and provide information about our music lessons and programs. Respond to new student inquiries and assist families with registration and scheduling. Schedule private music lessons, trial lessons, make-up lessons, and other appointments. Maintain accurate student, teacher, attendance, and payment records. Assist with tuition reminders and basic payment processing and recordkeeping. Perform data entry and maintain academy information using spreadsheets and office software. Communicate schedule changes, teacher absences, academy closings, events, and other important information to families. Assist instructors and management with daily administrative needs. Help coordinate recitals, student activities, Music Ladder evaluations, and special academy events. Prepare, organize, print, and file forms, certificates, student materials, and other documents. Keep the reception and waiting areas clean, organized, and welcoming. Assist with basic social media, follow-up messages, and communication with prospective students when needed. Perform other administrative duties necessary to support the daily operation of the academy. Qualifications Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Friendly, professional, patient, and comfortable working with children and families. Ability to communicate professionally by phone, text message, and email. Basic computer skills and familiarity with

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
