Job Description

Job Overview Join our vibrant Student Union team at a leading university as a Student Union Coordinator, where you will play a pivotal role in fostering a dynamic campus environment that supports student engagement, leadership, and well-being. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in higher education administration, program development, and team management while contributing to the overall student experience. You will collaborate with diverse campus groups, oversee administrative functions, and ensure the successful execution of student-centered initiatives. Duties Coordinate and support student activities, clubs, and organizations within the student union framework Manage administrative tasks using educational administrative software and productivity tools to ensure smooth operations Supervise staff and student volunteers, providing guidance and leadership to foster a collaborative team environment Develop and implement programs that promote student engagement, leadership development, and campus involvement Assist in planning events, workshops, and outreach initiatives to enhance campus life for all students Maintain accurate records of activities, budgets, and personnel using school administrative systems Collaborate with university departments to align student union efforts with institutional goals and policies Skills Strong background in higher education teaching and education administration Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and educational administrative software Experience in school administrative director roles or similar positions within educational settings Demonstrated ability to supervise staff and manage personnel effectively in an educational environment Proven skills in program development, event planning, and team management Experience working with students across various age groups, including early childhood education center experience preferred Excellent writing skills for reports, proposals, and communication materials Ability to lead teams confidently while fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere Prior experience in school or university settings with responsibilities related to education administration or student services This paid role is designed for motivated individuals passionate about enhancing campus life through innovative programs and effective leadership.
