Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Director to join our educational leadership team. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to influence and enhance the quality of higher education and early childhood programs through strategic oversight, innovative program development, and effective team management. As an Assistant Director, you will support the administrative and academic functions of our institution, ensuring a vibrant, inclusive, and well-organized learning environment that fosters student success and staff excellence. Duties Assist the School Director in managing daily operations, including program planning, staff supervision, and administrative tasks. Oversee educational program development to ensure alignment with institutional goals and compliance standards. Supervise staff members, providing mentorship, help with performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities. Coordinate with faculty and administrative teams to facilitate smooth communication and effective teamwork. Utilize educational administrative software to maintain accurate records of student progress, staff schedules, and program activities. Help support recruitment efforts by participating onboarding new team members. Assist in organizing events, workshops, and community outreach activities that promote educational excellence. Skills Proven experience in higher education teaching and administration within a childcare setting. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and productivity software for efficient task management. Effective staff supervision skills with a track record of personnel management in educational environments. Expertise in program development tailored to early childhood education centers or similar settings. Exceptional team leadership abilities that inspire collaboration and foster a positive work culture. Working knowledge of childcare regulations, early childhood education standards, and related policies. Excellent writing skills for report creation, policy documentation, and communication purposes. Experience with educational administrative software systems used for student records and personnel management. Pay:
$14.00 - $18.00 per hour
