Position Title Before & After School Program Supervisor Position Summary Horizon Science Academy is seeking a dependable, organized, and enthusiastic Before & After School Program Supervisor to oversee our school-age childcare program. This individual will create a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment for students while supervising staff, communicating with families, and ensuring the daily operation of the program runs smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, leading a team, and building positive relationships with families.

Schedule Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday Before School:

6:45 a.m.•7:40 a.m.

After School:

3:15 p.m.•5:30 p.m.

Wednesday After School Only:

1:00 p.m.•5:30 p.m. Additional hours for planning, meetings, or training may be available as needed. Responsibilities Supervise the daily operations of the Before & After School Program. Create and implement engaging lesson plans, enrichment activities, and recreational opportunities for students. Develop monthly activity calendars that provide a variety of educational and hands-on experiences. Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student participation, behavior, and program updates. Schedule and coordinate all before and after school program staff to ensure appropriate daily coverage. Supervise, support, and provide guidance to program staff. Ensure a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all students. Maintain accurate attendance records and program documentation. Follow all school policies, safety procedures, and licensing requirements. Collaborate with school administration and staff to support student success. Qualifications Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred. Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in education, child development, recreation, or a related field is preferred. Must successfully complete required background checks.
