POSITION DETAILS
The principal serves as the instructional leader of the school, responsible for fostering a positive learning environment, promoting student achievement, supporting staff development, and building strong relationships with families and the community. The principal leads school improvement efforts through collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and alignment with corporation goals. Full-time administrative position (1.00 FTE) Start date: To be determined

QUALIFICATIONS
Valid and appropriate Indiana Administrator's License Master's degree required Minimum of three years of teaching experience One to three years of demonstrated success as a building administrator or other administrative experience is preferred
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE
Strong background in curriculum, instruction, and assessment with evidence of successful instructional leadership Experience using data to develop and implement intervention plans Demonstrated ability to work closely with various socioeconomic and/or cultural populations Knowledge of MTSS, Special Education, and 504 processes Experience supporting English language learners and individualized instruction Demonstrated success leading school improvement initiatives resulting in increased student achievement Commitment to equity and working with diverse populations Strong skills in staff evaluation, coaching, and professional development Ability to build and sustain positive relationships with students, staff, families, and community partners Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with instructional technology and ability to model its use
