Job Description

The following vacancy exists in Goshen Community Schools for the 2026 -27 school year: Goshen High School ECA Assistant Treasurer
POSITION PURPOSE
Assist administration and the GHS ECA Treasurer in managing the funds received and distributed by the high school.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assists in managing all funds received and distributed by the high school. Assists in preparing financial statements, income statements and cost reports to reflect the financial condition of the high school. Assists in reconciling accounts payable with bank statements. Assists in managing purchase orders and ordering responsibilities for the high school. Assists in maintaining records for free/reduced lunches and student fees. Performs other reasonably related duties as may be assigned by the business office or administration. Maintains strict confidentiality of all sensitive, proprietary, and protected information, including but not limited to student records, financial data, informational and organizational data.
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of and ability to keep financial records accurately. Possess effective computer, bookkeeping and accounting skills. Ability to learn and effectively use designated software. Positive communication skills both oral and written. Good people skills. Understanding of District policies related to school internal accounts.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma Post-secondary training in Accounting preferred Proficient/experienced in Accounting/Bookkeeping methods
WORK CALENDAR
184 days per year; 20 hours per week
SALARY:
$19.50-$21.00, rate is dependent upon education and/or experience. (Schedule #20-1.1)
