CLASSIFIED POSITION VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Employment to begin as of: August 24, 2026
Position Title:
Administrative Office Assistant:
LHS Athletic Department Education Required:
High school diploma
Previous Experience Required:
Previous administrative office assistant experience preferred as well as a familiarity with basic accounting procedures.
Key Responsibilities Office & Administrative Support:
Handle daily office communications, including phone calls and email correspondence. Maintain accurate end-of-season athletic team records. Manage and track required student-athlete participation paperwork and monitor athletic eligibility.
Financial & Ticketing Operations:
Manage ticket sales for individual games and all-sport passes. Process claims for payment and handle the deposit of gate receipts. Order athletic equipment, awards, and program supplies as needed.
Event & Logistics Coordination:
Coordinate and prepare game day athletic programs. Develop and manage athletic transportation schedules. Assist with scheduling game officials. Communicate schedule updates, changes, and cancellations to community members and visiting schools.
Physical and Mental Efforts:
This position requires a high level of physical and mental endurance. Sitting in an office/classroom environment, performing tasks on a computer or other technical devices. Frequent standing, particularly for sustained periods of time. Frequent walking, moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one part of the building to another. Constantly talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas to colleagues and/ or students accurately, loudly, or quickly. Ability to hear and listen to detailed information through oral communication. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and distance vision. Ability to handle and balance multiple demands at the same time.
