Behavioral Health Services Professional Learning Community Facilitator
REPORTS TO
Senior Director of Behavioral Health Services Department or their designee
STIPEND POSITION OVERVIEW
The Behavioral Health Services Department (BHS) seeks to develop a talent pool of current BHS School Psychologists to lead monthly small group Professional Learning Communities (PLCs). PLC Facilitators will facilitate a 1.5 hour PLCs monthly. This opportunity will occur primarily from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027 will be paid at the hourly rate of $60.58 for up to 10 hours and once the responsibilities are completed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The BHS School Psychologists will be provided with the schedule, groupings and content of all monthly PLC meetings.
They will be responsible for:
Content development: Develop content for use in the
PLCs Scheduling:
creating a Zoom link for all monthly PLCs and sharing logistics of the training session with participants
Data:
maintain and report attendance, share and encourage completion of exit ticket
Facilitating:
using provided content, facilitate the PLC, maintaining participant engagement and promoting department and district goals and initiatives
Feedback:
attend once quarterly Zoom meetings after school hours with all PLC Facilitators to review successes and challenges and help plan future content and logistics
QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED
: Currently working in Boston Public Schools; Appropriate school psychologist licensure.
