Hours:
Monday-Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. (School Year) Position Summary St. Monica School is seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable individual to join our After School Program team. The After School Program Assistant helps create a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for students from preschool through middle school by supervising activities, encouraging positive interactions, and ensuring the well-being of all children. Responsibilities Supervise students in the After School Program from preschool through middle school. Plan and lead age-appropriate games, crafts, and recreational activities. Engage students in indoor and outdoor play while promoting teamwork and positive behavior. Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming program space. Communicate professionally with parents and school staff during student pick-up. Follow all school safety procedures and policies. Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or Program Coordinator. Qualifications Experience working with children is preferred. Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic with the ability to engage students of varying ages. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to supervise children both indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. CORI/background check and Safe Environment requirements must be successfully completed prior to employment.
