Job Description The Water System Superintendent is responsible for the efficient operation of the water supply, treatment, and distribution systems at CMI's customer site in Beltsville, MD. Candidate may be eligible for signing bonus if all qualifications are met . Key Job Functions Ensure all water treatment, storage, and distribution activities comply with local, state, and federal standards (such as the EPA). Recruit, train, and supervise water treatment plant operators and field maintenance crews. Direct the daily operation of water plants, wells, pumping stations, and distribution lines. Lead teams during water supply disruptions, line breaks, or contamination events. Perform other management related duties as required Qualifications High School diploma; Bachelors degree preferred Must have at least 3 years of experience of management and oversight as a Class T3 Water Treatment Superintendent in the State of Maryland. Must be licensed as Maryland (MD) Water Treatment (class T) with Distribution (class D) License must be at least Class T3 Water Treatment Superintendent or T4 Water Treatment License Having a class D1 Distribution System License is highly recommended and valued Must have thorough experience of Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) water systems operations, maintenance, and reporting requirements, Must submit license(s) with resume Must be able to fluently read, write, speak, and understand the English language Must be able to pass a government background check Additional Information
