QUALIFICATIONS
An associate degree (AA) in early childhood education or child development or the equivalent; or
  • A valid Center-Based Preschool CDA credential; or
  • An existing 120 Hour approval.
Background in child development Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Must be reliable and punctual with excellent work-related attendance record Such alternatives to the above qualification as the administration may find appropriate and acceptable
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Establish and maintain a safe, orderly structured classroom Assume a leadership role in directive of the activities of the assistant and families Work collaboratively with building teams to assure student safety and optimize student learning. Communicate and collaborate with parents regarding student performance Such alternatives to the above responsibilities as the administration may find appropriate and acceptable.
