We are seeking part-time, Student Assistant - Office Assistant to work at the SCC Science and Mathematics department providing office and lab support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following.
Other duties may be assigned:
Organize and perform general office functions Welcoming and directing students and visitors to faculty and campus services offices Answering the phone and directing or transferring callers to the correct individual or office Sorting mail and restocking lab supplies Inventorying office and lab supplies Support School Administrative Assistants and Lab Coordinators as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a current student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours. Ability to demonstrate a welcoming and smiling demeanor Ability to communicate effectively Attention to professionalism Ability to maintain confidentiality St. Charles Community College is an Equal Opportunity Employer .
