Job Description
This position will be located on the Old Charlotte Highway Campus in Monroe. This position performs duties as assigned by the Coordinator of the Academic Support Center. Essential Duties Summary Greet students, faculty and staff coming into the Academic Support Center, schedule appointments; make copies, work on special projects as assigned, answer ASC center phone and maintain phone log, use Teams to communicate with ASC administration & staff , etc. Required Qualifications Strong verbal and written communication skills and not afraid to ask questions to gain clarity Proficiency with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, email) Ability to multitask and remain calm Reliable, punctual, and dependable Demonstrated commitment to customer service and helping others Preferred Qualifications Physical Demands Special Conditions Eligibility Summary Students must have completed a current year's FAFSA, be eligible for Federal Financial Aid, be enrolled at least half-time (6 credit hours) at South Piedmont Community College, be making Satisfactory Academic Progress (GPA of 2.000 or higher, a completion rate of 67% or higher, not exceeding the maximum timeframe of 150%) to apply.
