Job Description
Serve as an academic counselor for a select group of sports. Provide student-athletes with academic counseling, registration assistance, and career guidance while building academic, organizational, and personal behaviors that support academic success. Monitor the academic progress of student-athletes to ensure compliance with University of Nebraska, Big Ten Conference, and NCAA rules leading to college graduation. Meet with prospective student-athletes during on-campus recruiting visits. Manage, assist, and oversee academic support program components, duties, and events as assigned by the Deputy AD for Student Services. Position requires working some evenings and weekends.
