Exempt Position Summary Claremont Middle School is seeking a dynamic, student-focused Assistant Principal to join our dedicated leadership team. This full-time administrative role works in close collaboration with the building principal to support school-wide operations, enhance student engagement, and promote a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment. Key Responsibilities- Lead daily school operations and support implementation of emergency protocols and safety planning
- Oversee student affairs including attendance, behavior, and discipline in alignment with restorative practices
- Support special education programming in partnership with the Student Services team
- Supervise and evaluate instructional and support staff in accordance with district policy and best practice
- Contribute to the advancement of the school's mission, vision, and strategic goals
- Actively participate in district and school-level committees and initiatives
- Foster a positive school culture and strong relationships with students, families, and staff Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Educational Leadership or related field
- New Hampshire Certification as a School Principal (Endorsement 0300)
- Demonstrated leadership experience at the middle school level preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
