JOB TITLE

Student Services Coordinator

REPORTS TO

Building Principal

WORK YEAR

208 days ______________________________________________________________________________ SUMMARY The Student Services Coordinator will work under the direction of the Building Principal to contribute to the daily operation of the school. The coordinator will support the staff to ensure the learning and advancement of all students.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee 504 Plans Oversee Behavior Plans Serve as Local Education Agency representative for Special Education meetings Complete investigations related to bullying, harassment and other behavioral or disciplinary issues Manage student discipline and/or behavioral issues Oversee the professional development plans for paraprofessionals Maintain regular communication between the school and the home, School Resource Officer, Truant Officer/FIT Coordinator, DCYF and any other related service providers Implement safety procedures and protocols to meet local and state guidelines (i.e. fire drills, lockdown procedures, etc.) Any other duties as assigned by the Building Principal, or as needed, to ensure the safe operation of the elementary school The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by a person in this position. CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE
Education/Experience:

New Hampshire Teacher Certification Required; New Hampshire Administrative Certification Preferred. 5/6/14 5/6/14

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of educational law. Ability to effectively communicate with families and other related agencies. Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others. Computer proficiency Determine appropriate action within clearly defined guidelines. Meet schedules and timelines. Work independently with little direction. Physical demands of the job are as follows: Sitting
