Exempt Position Summary Claremont Middle School is seeking a dynamic, student-focused Assistant Principal to join our dedicated leadership team. This full-time administrative role works in close collaboration with the building principal to support school-wide operations, enhance student engagement, and promote a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment. Key Responsibilities Lead daily school operations and support implementation of emergency protocols and safety planning Oversee student affairs including attendance, behavior, and discipline in alignment with restorative practices Support special education programming in partnership with the Student Services team Supervise and evaluate instructional and support staff in accordance with district policy and best practice Contribute to the advancement of the school's mission, vision, and strategic goals Actively participate in district and school-level committees and initiatives Foster a positive school culture and strong relationships with students, families, and staff Qualifications Master's Degree in Educational Leadership or related field New Hampshire Certification as a School Principal (Endorsement 0300) Demonstrated leadership experience at the middle school level preferred Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Commitment to equity, student-centered practices, and professional collaboration Working Conditions In accordance with the Claremont Administrators Association (CAA) collective bargaining agreement.
