JOB GOAL
To establish an educational climate that strives to ensure the health, safety and well-being of the school community through a program to develop positive student behavior: to provide and maintain quality instruction and related services; to supervise professional staff; to develop a meaningful and appropriate instructional program; to work with staff on curriculum development and evaluation; and to work cooperatively with the principal in all phases of the total educational program.
QUALIFICATIONS
Valid New Jersey Principal Certificate.
At least five years of successful teaching experience.
Demonstrated leadership skills in the areas of curriculum development, program evaluation, staff development and school improvement.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated skills to use the computer as a management tool.
Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
SUPERVISES
All Certified and Non-certified staff assigned to the school as assigned by, or in the absence of, the principal
