Working knowledge of Learning Standards and NY state assessments Experience teaching at the secondary levels (preferred) Strong understanding of the Science of Reading, literacy instruction, and literacy intervention tools and strategies Strong understanding of special education Strong understanding of social-emotional learning, classroom and behavior management The ability and commitment to use technology as an instructional tool Uncompromising commitment to continuous improvement Broad experience with a variety of instructional techniques Flexibility, enthusiasm, creativity, and willingness to develop programs and collaborate with and support other staff Loyalty and evidence of being a team player Commitment to equity and inclusion of all members of the school communityRequirements:
