Job Description:
Learning Objectives:
Office Management Skills — Learn core administrative procedures, including student intake, use of office equipment, filing, data entry, and working with the MS Office suite. Transfer Preparation Support — Assist students with university transfer processes such as applications, FAFSA questions, and navigating tools like Transferology. Customer Service — Provide front‑desk support by answering phones, greeting visitors, checking in students, scheduling appointments, directing guests, and sharing transfer resources. Marketing & Communication s — Support promotion of Transfer Center events and services. Event Management — Help plan and execute Transfer Center events, including preparation, setup, registration, and wayfinding. Consistently maintain 6 credit hours each semester; Maintain satisfactory academic progress; Adhere to College's confidentiality policy; Successfully pass background/drug screening; Answer phone and take messages; Clerical duties such as filing, data entry, copying and faxing; Open and sort mail; Strong interpersonal communication skills; Willingness to learn new technology; Assist with special projects; Other duties as assigned.
