JOB GOAL:

To coordinate middle school athletic program in accordance with District policy/philosophy and applicable rules

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

(not necessarily limited to)

Provides assistance in selection, assignment, evaluation and supervision of middle school coaches.

Fosters positive school/community/student relations through appropriate publicity, communications with parents, coordination of pep assemblies and award assemblies

Arranges practice and game schedules for all middle school sports

Develops and maintains communication links with high school coaches to enhance coordinated athletic programs.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

Experience coaching/teaching at the middle school level

Familiarity with Athletic Policies and Procedures and the 509-J School District and communities
