Job Description

Waynesburg University is seeking applicants for the position of Disability Services Coordinator This is a full-time, benefits eligible, position. Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Counseling, Higher Education, Student Affairs, Social Work, Special Education, Rehabilitation Counseling, or a related field preferred. Professional licensure or certification in Counseling, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling, or a related field preferred. 1- 3 years prior professional experience in disability services, accessibility services, academic support, student services, counseling, or a related field preferred. Experience working with college students and/or individuals with disabilities preferred. Manage the operations of the Disability Services Office (DSO) and serve as the primary contact for students with disabilities who seek or receive accommodations. Coordinate the accommodation process from initial inquiry and documentation review through implementation, follow-up, and ongoing support. Review and update DSO policies and procedures and maintain and update DSO content and resources on University's website . Successful candidates must demonstrate a strong Christian faith, a commitment to the University's Mission and a demonstrated commitment to that faith, through his/her professional responsibilities, relationships and the mentoring of students.
