In this challenging role, you will be supporting the SSS- Stud Supp Svcs department at Greenville Technical College.

team members—including the Academic Coach, Tutor, and Program Support Specialist—to provide a coordinated, student-centered approach to academic and personal success. This is a temporary, grant funded position Greenville Technical College is one of the largest institutions of higher learning in South Carolina and we invite you to consider becoming a part of our team!MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong understanding of college transfer admissions processes, preferably within South Carolina or other regional higher education institutions.
- Knowledge of financial aid processes and resources, including FAFSA, Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), scholarships, and other financial assistance opportunities.
- Experience working with first-generation, economically disadvantaged, students with disabilities, and/or historically underrepresented student populations.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication, organizational, and data management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and facilitate student-focused events, workshops, and educational programming that promote student engagement and academic success.
- Ability to provide individualized student support, guidance, and referrals based on students' academic, financial, and personal needs.
- Proficiency with student tracking and case management systems, such as Blumen, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain accurate student records, document services and contacts, and support program data collection and reporting requirements.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, faculty, staff, campus departments, and community partners.
