Job Description

Provides coordination and operational support for admissions, registration, and student records processes to ensure accurate student data management and compliance with FERPA requirements. Supports student communications and front-line Student Services operations to promote efficient enrollment and records management. Coordinates the admissions application processes to include the accuracy and timeliness of student data, admissions application import, scanning and archiving files. Assists with registration, schedule adjustments and graduation duties as assigned. Responsible for the communication management suite for new and readmitted students and ensures outgoing correspondence is timely and according to established operations schedules. Serve as a cross trained member of Student Services Administrative team and provides back-up support as needed to the Student Services or Admissions Reception area. Processes incoming transcripts and assist with outgoing transcripts to ensure all student academic information meet FERPA guidelines. Performs office duties, including file management, Etrieve, answering telephone, responding to email, and greeting students and visitors. A high school diploma and experience in records management, information systems, or office administration. Employee must have considerable working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products. Must have the ability to exercise judgment and discretion in scheduling use of various printers and software, maintain and retrieve information that has been processed and effectively use computers. Must have considerable knowledge of office practices and procedures including business English and spelling, be able to handle numerous objectives and have a friendly demeanor.
