Job Description
Utah Valley University is seeking a student to assist the testing center. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist in the responsibilities of Test Administration, which may include the New Student Assessment, the Proctor Exam Center, and the Computer Lab. Must be comfortable in dealing with students and the general public. Requires experience with customer service, effective problem-solving skills, answering phones, general office techniques, working knowledge of Microsoft Word, creating and maintaining spreadsheets, data entry, and the ability to multitask. Must be a current UVU student. Must be able to work the morning shift Monday - Friday, 8:05 am -12:45. Knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Word and Excel. Strong customer service skills and phone etiquette. Interpersonal skills. Problem-solving skills. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to communicate with the public effectively. Ability to follow verbal and written procedures and instructions. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
