Champlain Valley School District The Champlain Valley School District (CVSD) is seeking two innovative, collaborative leaders to join the CVSD leadership team as Building-Based Special Education Directors starting in

FY27. CVSD

is a PreK - 12 system comprising the communities of Charlotte, Hinesburg, St. George, Shelburne, and Williston. The directors will support PreK - 8th grade schools within CVSD. Successful candidates will share the values embedded in our mission/vision. The Director of Special Education is a member of the CVSD special education leadership team and building-based administrative leadership team. Working in conjunction with CVSD, the Director will coordinate Special Education and 504 services, and collaborate with principals to provide leadership within a multi-tiered system of support. Ideal Candidate's Will serve as strong advocates for all students, teachers, and families be knowledgeable regarding special education regulations and procedures have documented leadership experience regarding the development of intervention models within an MTSS framework. Must have at least three years of experience as an Educator and hold or be eligible for an endorsement as a Director of Special Education.
