Life Prep Academy Elementary Teacher in a Faith Based School

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and compassionate teacher who shares our vision for a faith-based, values-driven educational experience. As a teacher at Life Prep Academy, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of educating students in accordance with our Christ-centered curriculum, upholding strong Christian values and morals, and promoting spiritual growth alongside academic excellence. You will play an integral role in the development of each child, teaching not only subject matter but also life skills, character, and the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with our faith-based curriculum, focusing on both academic growth and spiritual development. Create a nurturing and positive classroom environment that reflects Christian values, kindness, and respect. Provide individualized instruction to students in small class sizes, fostering a deep understanding of the material and meeting their diverse learning needs. Integrate biblical teachings and principles into daily lessons and classroom activities. Collaborate with other faculty members to plan and execute school-wide spiritual and educational activities. Communicate effectively and regularly with students, parents, and school administration regarding student progress and behavioral development. Uphold the school's mission, values, and standards both in and out of the classroom. Participate in professional development and staff meetings to further enhance teaching strategies and school community involvement.
Qualifications:
A strong commitment to the Christian faith and the mission of Life Prep Academy. Experience in teaching at the elementary, middle, or high school level (preferred but not required). Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build a positive and supportive learning environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Passion for working with children and helping them grow academically, spiritually, and emotionally. Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and the wider community.
