Qualifications Proven experience working with young children in educational or childcare settings; prior preschool or daycare experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of child development principles, early intervention strategies, and childhood education best practices. Familiarity with Montessori teaching methods tailored for toddlers, including curriculum development and classroom management techniques. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in special education or early childhood education are preferred. Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare is essential. Experience with literacy education, math concepts for young children, physical education activities, and standardized testing processes is advantageous.
