An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Position Overview The Elementary Classroom Teacher provides high-quality instruction aligned with Arizona State Standards and district curriculum while creating a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment. This role collaborates with colleagues, families, and support staff to promote student achievement and growth. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction in core academic subjects. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students. Assess student progress and use data to guide instructional decisions. Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and productive classroom environment. Collaborate with school teams to support student success and well-being. Participate in professional learning and contribute to school improvement efforts. Foster a culture of high expectations, belonging, and continuous growth. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field. Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate or eligibility for certification. Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
