As a Primary School Teacher, you will be teaching students in the fields of reading, language arts, mathematics, social science, general science, health, art, physical education, and music in a classroom utilizing the course of study adopted by the Board of Education.
Key Responsibilites:
1. Develops and teaches skills and knowledge utilizing appropriate courses of study. 2. Develops programs and instructional materials and provides individualized and group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil. 3. Evaluates pupil progress in courses being taught, keeps appropriate records, and reports student progress. 4. With the assistance of available professional staff, identifies pupil needs and attempts to work toward fulfillment of those needs. 5. Establishes procedures and techniques for maintaining proper control to enhance learning. 6. Creates and maintains a suitable learning environment. 7. Performs reasonable non-teaching duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • Primary teaching credential
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience working with children
  • Applicants must have professional proficiency in English
  • US Work Authorization as Zen Educate is unable to sponsor any employment visa or relocation assistance at this time.
  • Candidates must be 18 years or older to apply
Physical Requirements:
  • Comfortable being on your feet and moving around the classroom throughout the day
  • Able to lift up to 20 lbs and safely assist students when needed (kneeling, bending, quick response)
  • Additional physical requirements may be requested during your application process
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong preference for ECE credits
  • Subject matter expertise
  • Experience supporting students
Salary Pay:
$41
  • $51 per hour, paid weekly.
