An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Description St. Marianne School is seeking a dedicated and faith-filled Elementary School Teacher who is passionate about Catholic education and committed to forming strong disciples of Jesus Christ. We are looking for an educator who inspires academic excellence, models strong moral character, and nurtures the spiritual, intellectual, and social growth of every student.
Requirements Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction aligned with curriculum goals Integrate Catholic teachings, values, and traditions into daily instruction and classroom life Foster a positive, respectful, and faith-centered classroom environment Support the academic, spiritual, and emotional development of all students Collaborate with faculty, administration, and parents to support student success Participate in school liturgies, prayer services, and faith-based activities Maintain clear communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (minimum requirement) Valid California Clear Teaching Credential Strong commitment to Catholic education and the mission of the Church Practicing Catholic preferred, with a willingness to actively support and model the faith Demonstrated ability to promote academic excellence and uphold high moral standards Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills

Wage Range The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range.
