Starting from $25 Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring, and experienced teacher for two homeschoolers to provide engaging instruction for children from preschool through 5th grade. The ideal candidate will have classroom teaching or homeschool experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to create a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment. The teacher will be responsible for planning and teaching age-appropriate lessons in core academic subjects while supporting each child's individual learning style, interests, and educational goals. Responsibilities Develop and teach engaging lessons for preschool through 5th-grade students Provide instruction in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies Adapt lessons to meet different learning styles, skill levels, and educational needs Create a structured, encouraging, and respectful learning environment Monitor student progress and provide regular updates to parents or guardians Prepare learning materials, assignments, projects, and assessments Encourage creativity, critical thinking, independence, and positive social development Maintain accurate records of attendance, assignments, and academic progress Communicate professionally with parents regarding student needs and achievements Support students with organization, study habits, and time management Qualifications Previous teaching, tutoring, or homeschooling experience required Experience working with preschool and elementary-age children Knowledge of elementary education and age-appropriate teaching methods Strong communication, organization, and classroom-management skills Patient, dependable, creative, and nurturing personality Ability to personalize instruction for individual students High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in education or a related field preferred Teaching certification is a plus but not required Must be able to pass a background check CPR/First Aid certification is a plus Preferred Experience Experience teaching multiple grade levels Familiarity with homeschool curriculum and educational resources Experience supporting students with different learning needs Ability to incorporate hands-on activities, educational games, and technology into lessons Benefits Competitive pay Flexible schedule Supportive learning environment Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' education How to Apply Please submit your resume, a brief cover letter describing your teaching experience, and at least two professional references.
