This role involves engaging with elementary students in a supportive environment that promotes learning, creativity, and social development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising children, facilitating educational activities, and ensuring a safe and positive experience for all participants. Additionally, this position requires the ability to drive company vehicles to provide transportation from local schools to our center, ensuring students arrive safely and on time. Duties Supervise and monitor elementary students during after-school hours, creating a safe and nurturing environment. Plan and implement engaging educational activities, including arts, crafts, homework assistance, and recreational games. Foster positive relationships with students to promote social skills and confidence. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by adhering to safety protocols and school policies. Drive company vehicles to transport students from local schools to the program center, maintaining safe driving practices at all times. Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and colleagues regarding student progress and program updates. Maintain cleanliness and organization of activity areas and materials. Assist in the setup and cleanup of activities as needed. Experience Prior experience working with elementary-aged children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for transporting students using company vehicles. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children, parents, and staff. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment. Knowledge of safety procedures related to transportation and child supervision is essential.
