Job Description:
We are seeking a full time 2nd Grade Teacher.
Requirements:
This position would align to a deeply committed Christian who seeks to personally know, love, and serve God.
  • Must be an active member of local church with similar fundamental beliefs and be in agreement with school's statement of faith and Christian philosophy of education
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and listening skills with the ability to build trusting relationships.
  • Operate as a strong collaborative team player valuing interactive communication.
  • Proficient in common computer applications
  • Bachelor's degree and experience preferred
Role Responsibilities:
  • Teach all main subjects within the classroom environment (Math, Phonics, Reading, Spelling, Writing, Bible, Heritage Studies & Science.
  • Create Lesson Plans utilizing our online system.
  • Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
  • Build rapport with students and encourage their academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to support student learning and development.
  • Grade Assignments & Enter Grades utilizing our online system.
  • Potential opportunity to serve as the Elementary Liaison, providing additional administrative support and assisting with the day-to-day needs of the Elementary School.
