An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Job Description:
We are seeking a full time 2nd Grade Teacher.Requirements:
This position would align to a deeply committed Christian who seeks to personally know, love, and serve God.- Must be an active member of local church with similar fundamental beliefs and be in agreement with school's statement of faith and Christian philosophy of education
- Excellent interpersonal communication and listening skills with the ability to build trusting relationships.
- Operate as a strong collaborative team player valuing interactive communication.
- Proficient in common computer applications
- Bachelor's degree and experience preferred
Role Responsibilities:
- Teach all main subjects within the classroom environment (Math, Phonics, Reading, Spelling, Writing, Bible, Heritage Studies & Science.
- Create Lesson Plans utilizing our online system.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
- Build rapport with students and encourage their academic and personal growth.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to support student learning and development.
- Grade Assignments & Enter Grades utilizing our online system.
- Potential opportunity to serve as the Elementary Liaison, providing additional administrative support and assisting with the day-to-day needs of the Elementary School.
