An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive learning environment, implementing effective teaching strategies, and supporting the diverse needs of our students. This position requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to enhancing the educational experience for all learners. Duties Learn and teach our curriculums (in digital literacy, robotics, technology repair, cybersecurity, app, website, game, A.I., and

development) in schools, community centers, and in our after school program. Collaborate with parents, staff, students, and specialists to create supportive learning environments. Foster a classroom atmosphere that encourages positive behavior management and social-emotional development. Maintain accurate records of student performance and projects, preparing reports as necessary. Teach students aged 7-107!

Preferred Qualifications :

Associates or Bachelor's degree, or teaching certification preferred, but not required. Experience in classroom settings preferred. Strong understanding of computer science and willingness to learn. Experience in behavior management strategies to support diverse learners effectively. Background in deaf or bilingual education is a plus but not required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment. Reliable transportation to get to and from course locations and our center located in Wilmington (19805).
