An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Job Summary We are seeking a faithful, energetic, and qualified F ull Time, 4th grade Teacher, for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing an instructional program that fosters spiritual growth, academic excellence, and social-emotional development in alignment with our Lutheran values.
Key Responsibilities Spiritual Leadership:
Integrate Biblical truths and Lutheran theology into daily lessons, lead classroom devotions, and model a Christian lifestyle for students and families.
Instructional Excellence:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, differentiated lesson plans that meet school curriculum guidelines and diverse student needs.
Classroom Management:
Maintain a safe, positive, and structured classroom environment rooted in Christian grace, mutual respect, and accountability.
Assessment & Grading:
Evaluate and record student progress, providing timely feedback to students and detailed reports to parents.
Parent Communication:
Maintain open, professional, and collaborative communication with parents regarding student achievements and areas for growth.
Community Engagement:
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, school chapels, and occasional church/school community events.
Qualifications & Skills Faith Alignment:
A professing Christian with a deep commitment to Jesus Christ and a willingness to teach in accordance with Lutheran doctrines. (LCMS called/rostered teachers or those eligible for a colloquy are highly preferred, but not required).
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Secondary Education, or a related field is required.
Certification:
Valid state teaching credential/license. Lutheran Teacher Diploma (LTD) is a major plus.
Experience:
Prior teaching experience in a classroom setting is preferred, but passionate new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Pay:
$37,500.00 - $45,000.00 per year
