We are a Christian-based, APPLE-accredited, 4-Star Quality Counts center committed to nurturing each child's academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth in a loving environment. Our mission is to provide every child with care, education, security, and love while partnering with families to help children reach their fullest potential. Position Summary We are seeking a passionate, caring, and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a structured, engaging, and nurturing classroom where students develop a love for learning while building a strong academic and Christian foundation. Our Kindergarten program utilizes the Abeka Curriculum , providing students with a comprehensive education in reading, phonics, mathematics, science, social studies, handwriting, language arts, Bible, and character development. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging daily lessons using the Abeka curriculum. Foster students' academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development. Create a positive, safe, and organized classroom environment. Teach foundational reading through phonics and support early literacy development. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records. Promote Christian values including kindness, respect, honesty, and responsibility. Collaborate with fellow teachers and administration. QualificationsRequired Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education or related field (preferred) Previous experience teaching Kindergarten or elementary students Strong classroom management skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Passion for working with young children Preferred Experience with the Abeka Curriculum Bilingual (English/Spanish) Why Join My Happy House?
