Job Summary Future Foundations Education is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and student-centered Elementary Academic Intervention Teacher to join our growing instructional team. In this role, you will provide individualized academic intervention and educational support for elementary students, focusing on reading, writing, language arts, and foundational mathematics. Through personalized instruction, ongoing assessment, and evidence-based teaching strategies, you will help students strengthen academic skills, build confidence, and achieve meaningful progress. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact by working with homeschool students, struggling learners, and students with unique learning needs in one-on-one and small-group instructional settings. You will collaborate closely with the Academic Director and families to ensure every student receives high-quality, individualized educational support. Responsibilities Deliver individualized academic intervention in reading, writing, language arts, and foundational mathematics. Develop and implement personalized lesson plans based on each student's academic goals, learning profile, and assessment results. Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and differentiated teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs. Conduct informal and formal academic assessments to identify learning gaps and monitor student progress. Maintain accurate instructional records, progress reports, and documentation using company-approved systems. Create positive, structured, and engaging learning environments that promote student confidence, independence, and academic success. Communicate professionally with families regarding student progress, instructional goals, and recommended learning strategies. Collaborate with the Academic Director to develop individualized learning plans and instructional recommendations. Integrate educational technology and instructional resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. Participate in ongoing professional development to strengthen instructional practices and remain current with evidence-based educational research. Experience & Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background and a genuine passion for helping students succeed through individualized instruction. Required Bachelor's degree in Education, Elementary Education, Special Education, Reading, or a closely related field. Strong knowledge of elementary reading, writing, language arts, and foundational mathematics. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between assigned instructional locations. Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and high ethical standards. Qualifications That Will Help You Succeed Candidates with one or more of the following qualifications are encouraged to apply: Current or eligible Florida Teaching Certificate. Reading Endorsement or Reading Certification. Experience in Reading Intervention, Structured Literacy, or evidence-based literacy instruction. Experience working with students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, or other learning differences. Experience supporting homeschool students or individualized educational programs. Previous teaching, tutoring, intervention, or educational support experience with elementary-aged students. Experience using assessment data to guide instruction and monitor student growth. Familiarity with educational technology and digital instructional resources. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
